Quarry Park Adventures is an outdoor aerial adventure park built inside a former rock quarry in Rocklin, billed as the only park of its kind set within a quarry in the nation. The dramatic stone-walled setting holds more than fifty challenge-course elements of varying difficulty, ten climbing routes up the quarry wall with auto-belay devices, a via ferrata of fixed steel rungs up vertical granite, rappelling, a free fall, paddle boats, and a netted play area for younger kids. The signature Big Gun zip line sends side-by-side riders racing across a four-hundred-foot cable over the canyon at speeds up to about thirty-five miles per hour. Reservations are recommended.
