Annual free self-guided farm tour each fall.
The PlacerGROWN Farm & Barn Tour is a free, self-guided annual day out across Placer County's working farms, ranches, and vineyards. Visitors map their own route among roughly fifteen to twenty participating destinations, enjoying farm tours, agricultural demonstrations, local artisan vendors, and fresh seasonal food and drink along the way. There are no tickets and no fixed itinerary, so families can move at their own pace and choose stops that interest them, from produce stands to barns and tasting rooms. The tour is part of PlacerGROWN's wider effort to connect residents and visitors with local family farmers, ranchers, and vintners. People return year after year because it is a free, kid-friendly way to meet local producers, buy farm-direct, and experience the county's agricultural heritage and autumn countryside all in a single, flexible day.
