Crooked Lane Brewing Company opened in 2016 and has grown into one of Auburn's most decorated breweries, racking up dozens of awards including Great American Beer Festival gold and a California Craft Brewers Cup Brewery of the Year honor. The 15-barrel operation is known for German lagers alongside New England and West Coast IPAs. Its standout taproom centers on a roughly 40-foot crooked bar, with hundreds of seats spread across an air-conditioned taproom, an outdoor biergarten and a covered patio. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, with leashed dogs allowed in the outdoor areas and live music most Friday and Saturday nights plus some Sundays.
