The business traces back to 1972, when Sam and Sally Ikeda set out to build a farm-to-fork fruit stand selling fresh produce alongside quick-service food. Today it's best known for its fresh-baked pies, both fruit and savory, which have become a destination draw for travelers passing through Gold Country.
