The Baker and the Cakemaker is an artisan bakery and cafe where friendly faces, locally roasted coffee, and fresh, homemade meals, breads, pastries, and cakes converge. Imagine hot croissants, an endless supply of scones and muffins, cookies of all kinds, fresh fruit and rustic tarts, delicious cakes, and their famous sourdough breads — all scratch-made daily using organic flour and a 15+ year-old sourdough starter. Don't forget the savory sandwiches, soups, and salads, all locally sourced and seasonal. They now ship their award-winning sourdough breads nationwide. Open Tuesday through Friday 6 AM–4 PM and Saturday 7 AM–4 PM.
